Once the roof was watertight, velux windows and new wooden sash windows illuminated the room with natural light.  Rot was replaced with reclaimed flooring and doors (covering the under-the-eaves storage) to give a nod to the history of the building.  A new bathroom is hidden behind the Farrow & Ball Lotus wallpaper.  The Lotus symbolises enlightenment and rebirth; a very fitting choice for a beautiful space that was revived from a previous life of grime! The pattern & palette have been repeated throughout the room to create harmony amongst the electic mix of furniture and fittings.
